Durvillea Marlborough Pinot Gris

Bargain-priced, the 2019 vintage (3.5*) was mostly (62 per cent) grown in the Awatere Valley, but also in the Southern Valleys and at Kekerengu. Pale and fragrant, it is full-bodied, with good depth of pear and peach flavours, gentle spicy notes, and a dry (3.9 grams/litre of residual sugar), smooth finish. (From Astrolabe.)
